United States government doesn?t seem to want to let up on their war against violent video games. In a recent interview with NBC, senator Lamar Alexander responded to a question regarding universal background checks with this:
??I think video games is a bigger problem than guns, because video games affect people. But the First Amendment limits what we can do about video games and the Second Amendment to the Constitution limits what we can do about guns.?
Cue the shocked and confused faces. While gamers can appreciate the senators clear indication of the industry?s rights under the first?amendment, his comments will certainly help the media fire-storm directed at video games.
What do you all think? Agree with senator, or think it?s absurd to imply that games are worse than guns! Let us know!
