Governor Bentley: $15.7 Million for Tornado Relief

HACKLEBURG, Ala. (WAAYTV) - Governor Bentley announced this morning in Hackleburg, that $15.7 million will be awarded to local areas for tornado relief.?

Here is the list of who is getting the funding:

Hackleburg - $4,788,921

Phil Campbell - $2,450,000

DeKalb County - $950,000

Franklin County - $125,000

Moulton - $375,000

Marion County - $300,000

Cordova - $1,392,613

Tuscaloosa - $3,470,000

Tuscaloosa County/Holt - $1,900,000

The funding is being provided by a special allocation from the U.S. Department of?Housing?and Urban Development. According to a release by the governor's office - the funding will be used for projects such as?revitalization?of downtown Hackleburg.
